How many times do you give your dog a bath? Giving them a wash too often can create skin problems. Not washing them often enough can leave your pooch with dog b.o. (body odor). Could the solution to this problem be contained in a bottle of luxury made for dogs?

Luxury is no longer made for humans. DOGS today stay at upscale pet hotels, get spa treatments for dogs and even receive massages. To keep them staying fresh, a New-York based start-up called Dog Fashion Spa has recently come up with a solution by introducing a new line of fragrances for dogs.

Company's co-founder Domenico Ponti says “We wanted the experience of the fragrance to be as enjoyable for dog parents as for their pets,” according to their press release. Ponti says the fragrances were developed in the US while the bottles are made in Italy.

INSPIRED BY THE ISLANDS
Want to escape to the islands? According to their press release, the female dog version of the scent titled Femmina was inspired by Hawaiian flowers giving off floral bouquet of notes of jasmine, violet, lemon, yiang, tiaré, accord, and musk.

Co-founder Elena Volnova describes Femmina as “Our female dog fragrance embodies the ultimate expression of dog femininity and luxury. It magically gives a dog the impression of living life in its own secret garden, away from reality.”

INSPIRED BY STYLE AND EXCITEMENT
The male version is described as a dog fragrance for the “man of the house” that features a “powerful mix of style, excitement, and male sensuality,” that is inspired by the energy of New York City with notes of citrus, bergamot, lavender, marine accord, amber, and musk.

“Park Ave bitches turn heads when they smell Tito wearing Maschio for him in Manhattan,” notes celebrity groomer Jorge Bendersky after trying Maschio on his dog Tito.

Each bottle sells for $55 dollars per bottle on their website, but in a world as they say that is “going to the dogs,” many pet owners will find this to be an invaluable tool in keeping their pooches smelling fresh.
